Oct 26, 2017: On 11th of October, 2017 Fr. Sathish Fernandes Director Vimukti, Pothnal address the Orphan Children and street children regarding Child-rights and POCSO Act more detailed way. The children are taught to know their right to education and to live a disciplined life, to gain their rights and to enjoy their childhood. At the same time, they are also made aware of the powers of a parliamentary democracy. They are taught to know the four basic rights:

            1. Right to Life

            2. Right to Protection

            3. Right to Progress

            4. Right to participate.

Children get trained to teach other children and thus to involve in social action and help vulnerable children to gain their right to education and health. The District magistrate, advocates, District child Protection officers (DCPU) and others were present for the program. More than 98 participants benefited from this training.
