June 6, 2017: Rev. Dr. Ignatius Dsouza, Bishop of Barelli Diocese presided over the Saturday evening festal Eucharist of Pentecost on 3-June-2017. He preached a beautiful homily. In his homily, he spoke on the Purpose, Prayer, Power and Performance that the early church witnessed. If we know the purpose of coming together, if we pray with one heart and mind, if we rely on the power of Holy Spirit we would be able to perform the will of God that he has for us. Thus he invited the faithful to make the Pentecost happen in the present modern times. Fr Guardian thanked him for his presence on this great occasion of the feast of Pentecost, the commemoration of the birth of the mother church. He was then presented with the small statue of Padre Pio as a token of love.
